Why This Training Matters (0:20 – 0:50)
“Right now, we have more generations working together than ever before. From Baby Boomers to Gen Z, each group brings unique perspectives, skills, and values. But sometimes, those differences can cause misunderstandings.
This training will give you practical strategies to turn those differences into opportunities for growth, mentorship, and collaboration.”
What You’ll Learn (0:50 – 1:20)
“Here’s what you can expect in this course:
You’ll explore the key traits of each generation.
You’ll reflect on strengths, challenges, and solutions in our Generational Mapping activity.
You’ll apply your knowledge to real-world scenarios.
And you’ll leave with strategies you can use immediately to strengthen relationships and communication across generations.”
How to Engage (1:20 – 1:50)
“This is a self-paced training — so take your time, reflect deeply, and apply the strategies to your own workplace. Don’t just read the content — use the activities and worksheets provided. The more you engage, the more value you’ll take away.”
Closing (1:50 – 2:10)
“Thank you for joining us. I can’t wait for you to discover the power of generational diversity. Let’s get started and bridge those gaps — together!”
Identify core values and traits of each generation.
Let’s take a closer look at Baby Boomers — a generation that played a major role in shaping today’s workplace. Born between 1943 and 1965, Baby Boomers earned their name from the sharp rise in birth rates that followed World War II, when soldiers returned home and families began growing again. In total, more than 17 million babies were born during this time. This generation is often described as hardworking, loyal to their employers, and committed to paying their dues—expecting promotions step by step through dedication and experience. They value teamwork, collaboration, and group decision-making. Many Boomers are also known for their strong desire to fight for a cause and for being highly task-oriented.
